I organized a girl trip and I’m driving. I said if anyone wanted to fly instead I could drop them at MCO on our way out. Everyone said they were good with the arrangements. Now, one lady wants to leave a couple days early for a party she forgot about and is looking at a cheap flight from Sanford or a very early flight from MCO. Am I obligated to get up early on one of our vacation days to drive her to the airport? Or to go out to Sanford to save her money?

As you offered a lift (intending it to be when you are all leaving) I would just let her know you want be free to take her so she can make other arrangements.

No. She's an adult. She can figure it out.

No way... just offer to hook her up with magical express...otherwise she can find her own transportation.

Not the OP, but obviously she was talking about MCO...the poster stated she was looking at taking an early flight out of MCO.

Or Stanford.

I specifically stated flying from MCO as one required condition for using DME, the other conditions being staying onsite and efore DME ends.

She must, of course, also be named on the reservation.

Uber is cheap.

Your original offer was to provide transportation for the GROUP that they all agreed to. It isn't your problem that someone in the group 'forgot' they have other commitments and needs to depart a few days earlier. You aren't running a taxi service and the original intent was to travel as a group. I would assume the person who 'forgot' they have other plans would realize they need to make their own departure plans. Options are DME (if staying @ Disney), online taxi, one of those car services or a 1-way rental.

No. Leaving the group vacation early and flying out of a different airport both change the terms, so your offer is no longer valid in that case. If she's reasonable, she'll agree and understand that. If she pushes or guilts you, that would say a lot about the self-centeredness of that friend. It's already a bit of an imposition for her to leave the group trip a few days early (especially just to attend a party that she "forgot"), after everyone already agreed on the dates of the trip. Personally I'd reconsider traveling with her again.

You are not obligated as everyone has posted. You might be tempted to ask. Let us know if she asks you/how it goes. Good luck!
