to even think about going to Universal over thanksgiving weekend? We have a disney cruise starting that sunday and then staying at WDW a few days after, but we were thinking coming in on Friday and spending two nights at Universal so we could see Harry Potter - are we crazy to even be thinking about it? And where would I find any discounts for Royal Pacific? thanks!

Well any holiday weekend is very busy at all theme parks here in Orlando so just be prepared for the LONG lines you will face. Stay onsite will definately help your wait times but I imagine it's really expensive on holiday weekends.

We're thinking of doing the same thing. We will be at Disney for 3 nights, Nov24-27 then we are headed to Universal for one night (so we can get the FOTL pass) and then back to Disney for another 7 nights. Hoping we shouldn't have much of a problem since we will be staying at a Universal hotel.

Oh yeah its gonna be busy. But remember that a one night stay on-sight gives you two days of the FOTL perk.If you got AAA see what rates they got going.Just remember you can always adjust your rate if a lower one comes out before your arrival date.
