Am i going to have a problem with credits after checkout? Tips please! Leaving sooN!

We have a DxDDP and a split stay. We plan to use 2 credits for dinner after we check out of the first hotel (which we payed for dinign plan ) and into the second hotel (we do NOT have the dining plan). I have heard that there may be issues with the CMs "knowing" that there are still credits on our account. What can we do to make this easier on everyone? For the dining credits and for the snack credits? Get a printout? Will it be an issue getting snacks with a printout? Any advice??

As long as you use them by midnight the day of check out you should be fine. I do not believe they carry over to the next morning . We've done split stays and the DDP and never had a problem. Now with the magic bands, I'm not sure if this will be an issue but I'm thinking you should be fine. I imagine you could get a print out to have in hand just in case.

Your credits will expire midnight Sunday, so you have to use them at some point on Sunday or lose them. When you are ordering, tell the server that the credits are on the resort account that you just checked out of. They will need to know which resort account to pull the credits from.

Yes, use them before midnight and you should be fine. If you have anything left over, you can see about using the remainder credits for snacks. Then, you'll have something to nibble on for a few days (depending on credits left). I believe you could even use counter service credits for snacks (unless the rules have changed).

When I checked in for my second resort of my split stay, one of the first things the check-in CM did was give me a print-out what was left in dining credits from my first stay. She told me these credits had to be used up that day. I already knew that, but thinking of others who may not have known, the information was helpful and appreciated.

OP, have your second resort make a print-out for you (for information only). But showing the print-out to a cashier won't help you get a snack or meal charged to DDP. The DDP credit info that the cashier needs would be located in your MDE file, and accessed thru your magicbands. The first resort DDP credits will remain accessible on your first resort check-out day. Which magicbands you use that day, first resort MB or second, doesn't matter.

Also, make sure you go to the desk and actually check out of the first room. If you aren't properly checked out, it can reek havoc on your account.
