Am I forgetting anything?

Going on a 3 night Wish cruise in August. Have plane tix, hotel for night before, transportation booked. Rental car for after to visit family in FL is booked.

For the cruise we didn’t rebook anything. My boys would not be into BBB and we decided not to spend money on alcohol tastings, spa, adult dining etc (not that we could book much anyway as first timers). Decided not to book excursions since we’re going to stay on the ship at Nassau and enjoy the basic beach day at CC. Gratuities are paid.

Is there anything else I need to do except for check in when it gets to be time?

I’m a planner so I love to square things away sooner rather than later. I’m sure I’ll spend my summer watching/reading everything about the Wish once people are able to sail on it (so excited!)

Midnight EST when it becomes 30 days is your check-in date. Have jpg of your passports (or birth certificate/ID...whatever you're using), jpg security photos of each person (plain background, headshot, smile is ok), travel info (flight #s/times), some payment form. Once you put all that info in you can pick your Port Arrival time (PAT). Doing it at midnight will ensure an early PAT, which you'll want for a short cruise. I waited until the morning for my Fantasy cruise and got 12:45-1, so doing it at midnight you should get something between 11-12... although if you have Disney transport, it shouldn't matter, your PAT is whenever the bus gets you there.

15 days out you can create an account with safe passage to upload vax docs. Each adult needs to create their own account. If anyone has a 90 day Covid recovery letter and test results, they can upload those as well. For all vaxxed people, 2 days before you can pretest and upload results by midnight before you embark. We're planning to do the NAAT tests at Walgreens supposedly has results in 2 hrs. Can also do a proctored antigen test. Starting 6/7, If you wait until port, it will cost $77/person for testing.

Pre-covid, one of the 75/90/105/120 onboard fun pre book options was free Tix to character meet and greets (Frozen characters and princesses)...it hasn't come back yet, but I keep checking just in case.

You will have a great time even without spending extra $. We have no interest in spending extra for adult dining or spa. I did an alcohol tasting on my second cruise, nothing on the first. And I agree that you can skip port excursions on a Bahamas cruise.

Perfect. Thanks

If you want to do snorkeling at castaway you can bring snorkel mask with you to save money and just get a life vest from the rental stand complementary as they are required. we got mask on amazon for $20 and have used them 3 times now at castaway

Geomom has the PAT information down. Totally concur with that post.
This is a new ship (we are on board in Sept) so there will be adventures you never thought of for things to do w/o excursions. Go over your packing list and take half of it out. Seriously. People way over pack but DO bring all meds. This includes OTC meds. Just in case. Yes it's available on board. Yes you will pay through the nose if needed. Last thing you want is an upset tummy or headache w/o meds.
If you are going to Pirate night, buy your own baubles to dress up or have (glow sticks, pirate gear). The stuff in the stores is really pricey.
Download the DCL app if you haven't already. It's very handy in finding out what is going on when while on board.
Bring sunscreen. Oh and bring a second sunscreen. I live in FL and found the sun there is blistering hot.
We also bring our own Tervis cups as the small cups at the drink stations don't cut it. You must use a cup to fill your cup but that's it. Bring a drink carrier from your favorite fast food place. Makes carrying multi-cups of drinks easy in the room.
Bring $1 bills for room service tipping.
Have a wonderful time!

We never did this on our cruise in May. It seems a waste since only your finger touches the dispenser. Not one CM said anything to us while we filled our Tervis cups.
