getting my ADR plans in order - not sure if i am doing this right or not.
we are staying 5 nights, DDP -3 adults. so i figure we have a "pool" of 15 cs,& 15 TS. i hope i am correct in saying that we can use them any way we want, cause DH is not a breakfast person and for sure not a princess person :rotfl: so the character brekfasts will be DD12 & I alone. we are staying at CSR and renting a car for DH to meet us at the parks later in the day.( and misc travel)
15 cs & 15 ts -

Sun-
arrive late ( flight lands around 8pm)
dinner @ pepper market - OOP

Mon -( mk day)
B - CP or Cindys ( whichever i can get ) 2 or 4 TS
L - CS 2 or 3 CS ( 3 only if DH joins us)
D- CS 3

Tues( DTD day)
B- 2 CS @ pepper market
L- OOP @ DTD
D - 3 TS @ planet hollywood ( is this hard to get?)

Wed (resort/swim/visit boardwalk day)
B - Late @ pepper market- 2 CS
L - (might skip depending on Breakfast time) 3 CS
D- 3 TS @ Cape May

Thurs ( MK day)
B- 2 TS (CP) 4 TS ( cindys,if not get on monday)
L- 3 CS
D- 3 TS @ LTT

so this totals 15 TS credits, and 15 CS
how does that sound?
our departue day is friday,so we will pay OOP for breakfast & lunch before DME comes for us around 2PM.

You are correct - you may use them how you wish. They are good until the end of your checkout day.

Yes, you are doing it right, but some suggestions... Are you getting free dining, or planning on paying for the dining plan?
If you are paying for it, you may want to make sure you are getting fair value.
In 2012, that means you are paying about $32 per TS credit and $17 per CS credit...

I see you are planning on using several of your credits for breakfast, which is generally a poor use of credits.
Not sure about the current breakfast price of CRT, but it is somewhere around $50 for breakfast... meaning you are paying $64 for a $50 meal. (I can't actually find the current CRT breakfast price.. can someone help me out?)
Breakfast at Crystal Palace is about $29.. With tax, it is $31, so you are paying $32 for a $31 meal.

At Pepper Market, where you are basically paying $17 for each CS credit -- The absolute most expensive breakfast is $10.25..... add in beverage and tax, you are paying $17 for a breakfast that costs $14 or less.

The dining plan works very poorly for people who plan on using credits for breakfasts. If that is really your preference, it may actually be cheaper to simply skip the dining plan altogether.
Alternatively, change around your plans a bit... use your credits for more lunches and dinners, and pay for breakfasts OOP.
For example, on Tuesday, you plan on DTD -- You can get great value out of CS credits at Wolfgang Puck Express. So use 2 credits there, while paying OOP for breakfast.

yes, are going during a free dining period.so not be be snide, but i am not really planning ADRs to make the "most" of the plan, we want to eat at the places we are most interested in :) and,DD12 has requested to eat at every character meal in MK :wizard how can a Mom resist? :grouphug:

That's the way to do it. I don't like tailoring dining to meet value of the plan. That's why I said those considerations were really only important if you were buying the plan.
When getting it for free, it's obviously a good cost savings, even without getting big value out of every credit.

Enjoy the character meals. Personally,we thought the food at Crystal Palace was better than our expectations, and the character interaction at CRT was great for our princess.

For your DTD night I feel there are much better choices than Planet Hollywood. Check out Raglan Road or Wolfgang Puck Cafe.

I agree! You can do much better than Planet Hollywood! If it's something you really want to see, go in for a beverage or a dessert but don't waste good money on a big meal. I think you'll be very disappointed.
