Am I crazy to start getting excited, planning my trip , for April 05. I am a return visitor, will be staying for 4 nights, and will be bringing my 13 month old son with us. What are some good rides , attractions that he would be able to go in at the magic Kingdom and Animal Kingdom( with us of course ). Looking to stay at the Wilderness Lodge-- Any suggestions?

I just wanted to say no you are not crazy! I am excited for our trip this year and excited for our trip I am going to book for October of next year when the rates for 05 come out. We will be going at a different time next year than we have been before, so no, you are not nuts!

No, your not crazy. We just figured the next time we can make it would be 10/05 and I'm back here now 'planning'. We took our DS at 17mo. At MK we did Pooh, Peter Pan, Jungle Cruise, Pirates, Magic Carpet Ride, Haunted Mansion, Small World, Buzz Light Year, TTA, wandered Toontown. There are other things too but that's just what we had time for.

AK they can do most everything except Dinosaur and I don't recomment Tough to be a Bug...very loud and 'sensory'. Hold on tight on the Safari!! Gets bumpy and he wimpered a little but loved the animals.

It's a great age. We never went back to the rooms, he napped in the stroller every day. I highly suggest the hip carrier from onestepahead.com it was great to hold him in lines with that on!!!

Have fun!!

You're not crazy, and it's not too early to start planning!:teeth:

There will be plenty for your little one to do!! We'll be taking a 1 yr old next March (he's turning 1 on our trip!!). We also took a 17 month old last year and he rode lots of things, and had a GREAT time! :)

Yes you ARE crazy!

Welcome to the club. You're awfully late to start planning! Get GOING!!! :)

Thank You everyone for your comments and suggestions. I have to go now, as I have planning to do!!

Nope, not crazy at all. I am planning our February 05 trip right now & very excited.

We took DS1 down when he was 14 months then again at 24 months.

When we go in Feb DS1 will be 4 and DS2 will be 1

There is tons to do w/your son. We took DS1 on any ride without a height restriction. Winnie the Pooh, Kilamanjaro (sp?) Safari ride, all the 3D shows, the Lion King show, Little Mermaid, just to name a few. In MGM they have the Disney Playhouse, which DS1 thought was awesome.

You will have an excellent time!! Don't forget some character meals!!
