Am I crazy?

Hey Everyone! I am taking my daughter to WDW for her 4th birthday July 2- 7th. My plan is to get up early and do AM EMH and then continue touring at a very slow pace and taking a late afternoon break, but also continue touring during the PM EMH. I know that some of the PM EMH are going to be extremely late, especially at the MK. Am I crazy for wanting to do PM EMH with a 4 year old. It is just going to be the 2 of us, and if she is tired, we will of course stop and go back to our cabin, but am I crazy? I plan on this being relaxing and I was thinking that we would be standing in shorter lines if we took advantage of the EMHs. What do you all think. Thanks!

Also, anyone going to be there during July?

Hi,

No, you're not crazy...but over July 4 week I don't think EMH crowds will be any better than regular hours crowds. It's likely that evening EMH will have very long lines for all attractions.

Enjoy your trip!

july 4 th week thats crazy

We are going to be following the UG touring plans somewhat and are buying passes because we are only an hour and half away from Disney. I just want to make her birthday special and this is becoming our tradition for her birthday. Going to Disney and having dinner with Cinderella. Her birthday just happens to fall in the same week as July 4th, so here we go. I am going with the attitude that if we miss something, we miss it. We can always come back. I'm just hoping that I do not get all kinds of weird looks because my 4 year old is still in the parks until midnight or later.

I don't know to much about the 4th of July and the crowds, but I do not think you are crazy. I have taken my children from 10 days old and up and have always taken advantage of EMH and have always closed the parks on
regular nights. That is what strollers and naps are for, just go at a pace that
is good for you and your daughter and have a magical trip. :wizard:

No you aren't crazy at all!
Sounds like a sound plan to me. If your DD gets tired just go back to the resort. That is what is really nice about staying onsite. You can be very flexible with your plans.

GO FOR IT!

We will be @ WDW the end of July!

ENJOY & have a GREAT time! :wizard:

you may look back at the adventure someday and say that you were crazy to do it but that is half the fun of the crazy things we do as parents for our kids.

You know your child better then anybody and just don't try to push her more then she can handle.

Go have a great time
