Am I crazy?? Summer sports plans

come ahead. Let see I'm up to how many kids and at least 2 teens with attitudes................ Geesh it sounds like a normal day around here. I can't count the overnights that there have been 5,6,7 kids here in the am.

Let's see if we/they get adventourous and we include a week of survival training I can sleep at least 6 more in the 2 tree houses. that brings me up to like 18 plus my 2. someone better send food.

I'll send you all the food DD needs and she would love to sleep in the tree house. There is nothing girlie-girl about her. I think keeping her fed in Vermont would be cheaper than bail money after I wring her neck.

Really? That would be great. I'll be sure to send some gas money with him. :thumbsup2

Nope would not cost that in gas by any means. gas here is actually dropping:confused3 6 cents this week alone :woohoo: and definately cheaper than bail.

Boston's not a bad trip if it's cheaper Ann. We'll coinside with a Nanny trip down there and she can run shuttle.:lmao:

Jennifer I'll take her in a heart beat. and I know that if you need a week away there is always space here.

We just have one DD, but her summer will be pretty full...

June 8- first day of summer conditioning & training sessions for soccer. These will be every Tues and Thur from 6-8pm until mid August.

June 10- last day of school.

June 23-27- sleepaway soccer camp 3 states away (her 2 coaches will be on staff there). DH and I will spend a few nights at a nearby city on mini-vacation while she's there.

July 1- 17- staying with Grammy & Grampy 2 states away.

August 1- twice a week practice for soccer travel team starts (in addition to the summer conditioning sessions).

Aug 25- school starts.

Eldest thinks I'm crazy for even thinking about sending him away and Little Bit wants to know if he goes can he milk the cows? :lmao: Oh, and am I going to?

Actually, I think DD would love to work on a farm for the summer. She loves animals, likes to wear comfy, ugly clothes (not that farmers do, she just isn't into the fancy stuff), and likes to work out. Now the early morning stuff would put anyone over the edge that was around her, but other than that, you'd love her.

Morgan could stand to drop a few pounds and I'm sure she would, working the farm ;)

Thanks for the offer, Christy. She'd probably have a ball!

:lmao: That is what I told Eldest. It would be way more fun than fat camp. :lmao:

My dad used to work at a fat girls camp on the cape!!!

I'm serious I'll take any of them and Little Bit can try to milk the cows but they are beef ones not dairy. I have one that will let him and she's the one still left to calve.

She will learn to like mornigs cause it's not so bloomin hot when you're trying to work in the garden. and it's all about being comfy when you're sweating like a pig.

both my boys are skinny as rails (they must have gotten tom's genes) and all the work definately keeps them slim. L just hit 100 and he's 5'1"

 I absolutely love that you would really take our children into your home.

If we didn't have a Disney trip this summer, I would be totally taking you up on the offer.

Husband rolled his eyes at me and wanted to know just where I planted the money tree when I asked if I could send the boys to Vermont for the week.:rotfl2:

Anytime any of you are out this way please stop. I will take any and all kids needing a spot for a week or 2.
