Here is the story...we booked ourselves to fly MSP to MCO..with the plan that we would drive from Winnipeg to MSP to catch our flight. We got a great deal on tickets (660.00 for 3 of us) and have done this before.

Today I decided to see if I had enough Airmiles to get the Winnipeg-MSP portion of trip and I did and they had a ton of seats available. So we are no longer driving to MSP-giving up our shopping trip there-but with the change in the exchange rate we decided we really could make do with shopping in Orlando;) I went ahead and booked us flights from YWG to MSP to cover the portion we were going to drive.

So..my question is:
Really I have two different reservations..they are not connected at all, so when I check in now at YWG can I tell them I am actually connecting in MSP and have them take care of all our boarding passes? Or because they are not booked as connecting flights will I have to check in here..and then do the same for the remainder of our flight from MSP to MCO?

Hope that made sense!

If you are flying all legs on the same airline, they can do that, I think. The easiest way to get a definitive answer to this question would be to call the airline directly. I'm glad you were able to bypass the drive :goodvibes

Have a wonderful trip! :cool1:

Out of curiosity what did it cost you in AM and taxes for those flights?
