Hi everyone! DH & I are going to the world in October w/ my parents. We'll be arriving late in the afternoon on a Saturday, so we have to do a non-park restaurant. We made our PS for CM, figuring this would really put us in the Disney mood (& also put us in a great location for resort hopping!) HOWEVER, several friends have recently returned from the world, each of them going on and on about how disgusting the food was! The last time hubby & I were there was about 3 years ago, and I wasn't too enthused with the food even back then!
So, my dilemma is this - we really wanted the character interaction to get us going, but can't stand the thought of spending the money on less than palatable food, just because the characters are there. We need a good alternative! The only things I've come up with so far is maybe Whispering Canyon, as this was on our to-do list later on in the week anyway, or the Concourse Steakhouse, since we'll at least be CLOSE to CM!! I should add that none of us are very adventurous eaters - strictly pasta/meat & potato types!
