I know restaurants like O'Hana and LTT offer alternate meals for kids. DS, 4, is very picky and it's hard to tell if he will eat the family style food. He pretty much likes fruit, chicken nuggets, etc. I'm assuming if I order him a chicken nugget meal and we have the regular LTT or O'Hana meal, he cannot have a bite? It seems like this would be not allowed (sharing an all you can eat meal?). I'm mostly worried about him not understanding he can't have something at the table (he has autism). Sorry for the rambling question, just curious if anyone has had experience with the alternate kid's meal (esp at LTT). Maybe it would be best for me just to order the regular meal for everyone and bring him a side of snacks in case he doesn't find anything to eat?
Or maybe just buy him OOP an order of chicken nuggets if he ends up not liking the main meal?
