Altered Letters Question

I am thinking about doing altered letters for a swap. Now, would it be acceptable to use my Cricut to cut out a 2 inch and 3 inch letter, put them together, and embellish them. Would that be considered an altered letter? I've never done them so any advice would be appreciated.

Which swap???
If it is specifically for an Altered letter only, the hostess may have given requirements... most have been 4" , letter w/ shadow and embellished...

If it's an element of your choosing... I would say 2-3" would be good, shadow, embellished.. welded if you want... as long as you like it, I'm sure others will also!

If you look in the swap board for the DLR Altered Letters topic you'll see lots of ideas for them and the basic requirements-

That swap was my first time doing letters and I really enjoyed it because a)it used all scraps b) it wasn't time consuming
