::sigh:: I LOVE aisle petals!! I'm getting married at the WP though, and with the colorful rug that lines the aisle, I dont think Hot Pink petals will look as nice as it does at SBP.

We are having petals scattered on the aisle in the WP but we are having a plain white runner that they will be scattered on.

You can bring your own but if they are fake you will have to clean it up yourselves..ask your planner to be sure..I think it was 65 for the rose petals to have them scattered on the ground and on my sand table and cake table.

I did nt realise you had to pay for the cake table or for the table for the sand ceremony/unity candle at SBP? Does anyone know how much these cost to use? Does the price also include Disney decorating them for you?

Did i read that you cannot have a unity candle lighting at SBP??? If thats true how does the whole unity candle ceremony work there then?

I def want aisle petals as i think they look beautiful, i ve seen some pics also showing how they can decorate SBP & some of the pics are gorgeous


Even though our is gonna be a very intimate ceremony i still would love some decoration

Will we be asked or given options even if it's an escape wedding?

Generally, unless you specifically ask for something, they will not ask. But as lurkyloo said, they usually do a pretty good job for the Escape cake tables.

If you are having an Escape wedding, you don't pay for the cake table and it is automatically decorated at no additional cost. However, if you want something very specific, Disney may charge a "set-up" fee.

I'm not entirely sure about the unity candle. While Disney doesn't say you "CAN'T" have the unity candle at SBP, they do tend to "discourage" the candle at outdoor locations because of the chance of the wind being an issue with lighting and keeping them lit. The sand ceremony tends to be a nice alternative. But, many brides have done the unity candle at the outdoor locations.

We opted for no decoration at all...it is amazing at how beautiful the location can be even "bare".

As hiwaygal said, tables are provided. We originally asked for 2 tables-- 1 for our memorial candle and 1 for our sand ceremony-- we ditched the sand ceremony the week before the wedding and used only 1 table. They do charge for other decor, including column rental.

We were told that we could not have a unity candle at SBP. Our memorial candle wasn't even lit at our ceremony. SBP is on the water and is breezy no matter what the weather is like. The hurricane over the candle and our floral arrangements had to be of a certain height so they would not be blown over.

We were going to have the sand ceremony in lieu of unity candle. We were doing it for our moms and then tossed it because I honestly had no interest in it. I think Disney would encourage the sand ceremony over the unity candle.

So, fake petals are out at SBP, but will they let you bring in real ones or do you have to have disney floral do it?

I don't have any pics of the ceremony site at the moment, but here are a couple of the reception.

Please excuse the stupid expressions on our faces. We were just really happy with the cake. I didn't even think to ask about the fluffy/nonfluffy table. It never really crossed my mind, and honestly I didn't care too much.
