already have 1 day tik, can i upgrade to hopper at gate?

So we planned just one day to see California Adventure- Carsland really and now I am wishing we got the hopper.

I already bought, paid and received our 1 day 1 park pass, paper ticket. Can I upgrade them to hoppers at the gate?

Should be possible for most tickets, although discounts or promotions don't necessarily carry over.

I bought a 4-day AAA PH that came with parking included as a bonus. I parked on my fourth day and upgraded it at the ticket window before entering. The replacement ticket no longer had the parking. However, my wife had the same type ticket and didn't come that day, so we used her ticket to get the included parking on my fifth day.

At least 30 minutes prior to opening. (Including MM opening.) Sometimes longer.
