I am only doing one ADR and then want to go to BBB on the same day as MNSSHP and I feel like I'm not going to be able to do it all. :rotfl2: I see some who have ADR's one after the other and this and that planned for the exact hour and what not and I don't know how you do it. I just feel like I won't be in the right park at the right time or something. I've also never flown :sad2: so I'm scared we won't be in the right place at the right time there either. I worry about everything all the time at home and I don't want to be a nervous wreck the whole time we are on vacation so I need some pointers. I know it won't be a relaxed vacation but it doesn't have to be stressful either.

Do you have tips on how to make it as stress free as possible? I know the sooner I plan things like the ADR and the BBB the better but I can't do BBB until MNSSHP dates are out for 2010. That brings on another worry that I won't be able to get in that day since I won't know for so long. LOL. See, it just call snowballs. :scared1:

If you are booking BBB for the party, either book at DTD or VERY early in the day at MK. They tend to get behind in their wait times. Last year our appointment was more than an hour late. Good Luck and have a great time!

Thanks for the heads up! I figured kinda early so they can get their moneies worth and we can have time to take pics and what not and not be rushed.

I wouldn't worry about ADRs. If you want to do the Disney Dining and have a few really special places you want to get into then book them. If you're flexible about where/when you eat you can make ADRs but always change/cancel them. I hated, hated, hated using the Dining Plan for just the reason you stated. I was anxious about how my plan would work, and in the end I wished we hadn't done it. I would have preferred to just eat wherever we were at the time. So you're not alone! Just remember you can cancel/change. No big deal. :goodvibes

First, take a deep breath and relax. There is no way you will be able to see/do everything that WDW has to offer in one trip (unless you're staying for at least a month).

We plan a loose schedule that includes what park we're going to be in that day, and where we're going to have dinner (we do the ddp as we like to have a table service meal each day). We then list our top 5 things we want to do/see, that way anything else is a bonus! I plan dinner for around 5-6 pm, which is the same time we usually eat at home. We've found for us that we like to have that hour to sit down, unwind and talk about what we've done that day and what we're going to that evening and the next day.

If you're traveling with young children you should also plan on some down time for playing in the park, swimming in the pool, etc. My kids are all grown up now, but I took my niece for her first trip last fall when she was 4, almost 5. If you ask her about the trip her top 3 favorite things don't even include a ride. Actually I don't think she gets to a ride to much futher down the list. Her favorites were playing in the Winnie the Pooh playground (MK), being made up like Princess Ariel (BBB), swimming in the pool, having dinner with Cinderella (1900 Park Fare), trading her pins, having breakfast with the Princesses (Askerhaus), meeting Ariel (in her Grotto in MK), picking a pearl and having it made into a butterfly necklace (Epcot - Japan), making a mask (kidcot stations in Epcot) and being in the Lion King show. Its not until she gets through this list before she gets to the rides. Test Track was her favorite by the way.

While WDW is certainly a busy vacation, it doesn't have to be stressful. Be prepared to deviate from your plan if it isn't working for you. Some of the best trips we've had is when we've had a more laid back approach to touring.

Have a great trip!

I plan on doing QSDP so we can eat whenever but I do want to do one character meal and I REALLY want to go to Askerhaus. My girls love the princesses the most so this would be special. I also told my hubby I would like to just veg at the resort by the pool and check out the different things at the resort the first day. I've never flown (most anxioux about this actually) so I'd like some down time when we get there to just take it all in. Then I want to head to MK the next day for a full day with no plans to be anywhere at any time. The last full day of our stay is when I'd like to do BBB and MNSSHP so I hope it works out that way. I want to end with a bang!
