Already booked room. How do I get apply room discount?

I already have a booked room at a higher rate. I see I can book now as a discounted rate. How do I make my reservation get this rate? Do I rebook and cancel the old one? Is there an easier way?

If you modify it, you can check for other offers. If your room type is available, it will show there.

If you go to the Disney website and look under My Disney Experience, My Plans, next to your reservation information there should be a button labeled Change Reservation. Click there and you will see several options you can change, including the discount promotion you are booked under.
