Already booked - can I still get free dining?

I just saw the announcement on the free dining package.

We've previously booked our vacation from 8/22-8/28, which falls within the announced dates, at the POR. We haven't done anything with dining yet.
Can the free dining package be added in a case like this?

Call and ask. Can't hurt. Might be affected by availability in your resort. Here is the 1 800 # (might as well save the $ on a phone call):

you can always call to find out. From my personal experience, it seems any change you make is like 'rebooking' the trip, so there might be a fee, depends on your pacakge. I would definitely try to get it, even if it costs you $100-$200 is fees.

You can try. There were a limited number available at each resort for each week. Alot of people signed up so I don't know if you'll be able to get one.
On a positive note, of those who signed up chances are not all will actually be able to go which means a free dining spot might open up.

The operator I got a hold of said they could simply add it if there was open slots for the time/place . I didn't have the reservation # myself, so the wife @ home is going to get the info & call & we'll see if we get lucky.

I just checked your dates on the disney world website under the dine and play package and it looked like their was availability for all room types at POR for your time period. You are more than 45 days out so there shouldn't be any problems or penalties to modify your reservation with the new deal. The code is YMP and needs to be booked by July 3.

You might give Magical Journeys a call. Maybe they can take over your reservation for you. MJ will apply any available discounts, like the free dining package, to your reservation. They did it for me.

Well my wife got in touch with the travel agent who called the 1-800 number given here and they did indeed simply add the free dining plan to our trip.

Plus the agent found out the hotel/ticket package dropped $90 & is passing that along to us so we're saving almost $1000 between the two for the 5 of us.
