already any rooms for end of Jan

today is our 7th month were already booked at the poly our home and sometimes we change at the 7th month
when I checked today to see whats open--theres hardly anything open for the end of Jan even OKW is very linited
the only one that has room is SS which weve stayed at before
we can BLT by just pushing the date one day but other than that everything is pretty well booked
is there something going on at WDW or just a glitch in the system

Well, a large number of rooms at BWV are blocked for refurb at that time. Maybe there’s a domino effect.

The Festival of the Arts 2024 dates haven’t been announced yet, but it should be going by the end of January, and it’s becoming more popular, so maybe people are booking that time for that reason as well.

And, January plus early May are now the second cheapest points time of year, so it’s possible the points chart reallocations DVC made over the last few years are having some effect too, encouraging people to switch from more-expensive fall to less-expensive January for their visits.

We are traveling down at the end of Jan into Feb so I just looked and I see availability everywhere. A couple places have some studios missing but it's looking good for my 7th month mark.
