We will be taking advantage of the free dining this September and will be traveling with our DS who will be 21 months at the time. My DH seems to think it won't be that great of a trip since we will have to go on rides by ourselves and just in general won't have a good trip. Is it really that bad not being able to go on rides without your spouse?

There are very few rides that your 21 month old will not be able to join you on. My DD is the same age and has been to WDW three times. The first trip was with extended family, but the last two were just DH, DD, and I. We had a great time with just the three of us. We did take turns going on some of the rides with height restrictions, mostly when DD was napping. Of course it would be nicer to ride with your spouse, but it wasn't a vacation wrecker to go by ourselves.

Have a great trip!

The one plus is that you can use the stand by lines and not wait long. I do not like to ride a lot of the rides so dh does not mind, but he did say that it was more fun this year riding with our dd. Oh, and ya'll can baby swap. Stand in line together and take turns on the rides while the other waits with the baby. I think as long as you keep it fair ya'll wont have any problems.
