Alone time

For me it was the last thing on my mind lol.

We were there for our 10th Anniversay and we "celebrated" when we got home ;)

We will be there for our 13th Anniversay in two weeks :)

Bathroom and shower (even if the walls are thin....I'm sure by your adulthood you have learned to do this quietly). That is what we always do on vacation or when we travel to our family's house out of state. We personally are never too tired....:rotfl2:

We are paying for my parents to come and have their own room with us for this reason but if that wasn't possible we would certainly still have alone time in the bathroom. Part of vacation is relaxing and enjoying your family which also includes "alone" time with your spouse. It keeps everyone happy

I couldn't go a whole week! eek. Good Luck.

If you're not talking about like, kind of alone time where you've got Barry White on the stereo, DH and I love to have a glass of wine on the balcony after the kids go to sleep. We're also using Kid's Night Out so we can do World Showcase/Monsieur Paul without the kids.

If you are talking about getting busy, I would suggest maybe getting a sitter and renting a minivan?:rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2:

Dude, I just had a baby, so I was like, THIS IS MOMMY'S VACATION, TOO. HANDS OFF.

hahaha - i thought she meant alone time for herself too - :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

we got a suite at AoA 2 bathrooms and a separate bedroom - although there will be no "alone" time, but I liked the idea of having a separate room where people could get away or the kids could go to bed

Your two are also old enough for the Kid's Club, which is offered at various Deluxe resorts. It runs from 4:30pm to pretty late. It will cost you. It's $11/hr with a 2hr minimum, but they do give them dinner.

You would have to kind of plan your alone time though as reservations are strongly recommended. I don't have a spouse but I was going to use the one at Wilderness Lodge on a previous trip to ride some stuff at MK my dd doesn't like, but just ended up skipping that stuff.

This is one of the more amusing threads I've read in awhile. Thanks for the chuckle. The past few trips we have had my parents with us so they always took the kids to the pool...on walks, etc so there was an opportunity for alone time. This trip it is just us...and the bathroom is small!

Simba's Cubhouse is awesome. Call and make a reservation. :cool1:
Thanks, I'll check into it.

I'm glad everyone is getting a chuckle out of this thread :rotfl2:

I'm going to be paranoid when my kids are in the bathroom, now. 1. Who knows what they might hear from our neighbors and 2. just the ickiness factor.:crazy2:

I remember being in a hotel, not disney but boy oh boy the people next door made sure that they let everyone know what they were doing. You could not drown it out with the t.v.....:rotfl2:

Love the question!!! My dh and I enjoy our alone time while on vacation. We are away from the stress in our everyday life. As much as we love staying on, if we can't afford the price of the villas, we look elsewhere. Bonnet Creek has been a life saver.(space, location, and tons of privacy for a cheap price)Have a great vacation.
