hello to all,
I have been away awhile due to my health. After a scare with a breast tumor that turned out to be beign and a fall that sprained my wrist and both ankles hubby and i decided a trip to wdw is much needed. Money is more of an issue so we will be staying at the coronado springs with a discount instead of the usual wilderness lodge villas with 2 rooms for the 8 of us. We will take our dd's wheelchair but we are so proud that with her new therapists program she can take steps holding our hand. Our 3yr old has been dx with asthma and will need to bring his nebulizer. Any advise with where we are staying and what wdw is like in june would be appreciated. our trip is june 27-july 4 & a little worried with the heat and crowds.

Pixie Dust coming your way! I have never been in the summer but it is always a good idea to have lots of fluids available. The spray bottles from Wal-Mart are a big favoriteto help keep cool. Take an afternoon break for a swim. See lots of shows inside to keep cool.
Have a ball.

Welcome back.:bounce:
We haven't stayed at CS, so I can't give you any advice about staying there. If you have a vehicle and decide to drive some days, I'd still suggest taking WDW buses to MK. If you drive, you have to park in the lot and then take either the monorail or the ferry boat over. The buses leave you off right at the turnstile (close to where the WL boat leave you off).
We've been to WDW in late May and DH and I were there last year in early July. Watch the weather reports and be flexible with your plans. If the day you planned to go to AK is supposed to be very hot, you might be better switching to a park that doesn't get so hot and has more to do inside. Or stay at the resort for the day and go out to the parks in the late afternoon when it's cooler.
Take advantage of cool places to rest in the parks.
Here's a link to the DIS page about dealing with heat.
DH and I were expecting huge crowds last July, but it wasn't bad at all. There were some things with long lines, but we avoided them by getting fastpasses and just not going in long lines. A lot of times, there is a long line at several rides, but if you go on a bit further, there are rides with very little wait.
