Hi all! It is a hot steamy Hallowwen here at the Poly. The resort has lots of fun things happening today so we are taking a break from the parks and just chilling here. DD and DH are out on the water mouse while I sit by the pool!

Wishing I was sitting by a pool anywhere! It is fricking cold here. . .watched our daughter dance at her college game and we were freezing. . .it was 70º here yesterday, today--cold! I have Polynesian envy right now.

Our family are planning to stay in the Poly for January 2010! And I need to know is which rooms in the Poly is the quietest?

I really think most rooms are quiet. If it were me, I would just request quiet room. The room assignor will then know just what you need.

They look so cute, don't they? Can't wait to see them in person. I've read they're available in DTD and DHS. Are they in each park, do you know? I wonder if they are available at World of Disney? We can get an AP discount there.

Hey everyone! I've been catching up on all that is Polynesian because we will be there soon! I can't wait It has been 2 long years since I've been back to stay at my favorite resort. I am interested in the Resort photo shoot at the Poly. Have any of you done this and do you have any photos to share? We are celebrating my oldest DD's 13th birthday and I would like to have some photos to commemorate it.

Just booked the Poly for Dec 17th-23rd and are thinking Tokelau for longhouse. We have gardenview - which room would you recommend for best view? I have read some have great castle views from the side. Thanks!

I am visiting in March and although I am not staying at the Poly, we are a 7.20 ADR at the Kona Cafe and would love to catch the EWP and the torch lighting ceremony if possible. I see that Wishes will be at 10pm on the night of our visit, does this effect the times of the EWP and torch lighting?
We also thought we could take a drink on the beach and catch a view of Wishes. Sounds like a dream night if we can make the timings work
any help would be great - very excited

I've never caught the Torch Lighting Ceremony, I think when we were there in December, it happend around 6PM, but I've never seen it.

The EWP can be seen from the beach at the Poly at 9 PM.

Your timing sounds like it would be perfect.

To those of you at the Poly now, what is the current bounceback offer? Thanks.

We just left today (were there since Oct.24). There was no bounceback offer in our room or my sister's. I didn't inquire since we won't be going back before next fall at the earliest, so I don't know if the mousekeeper just didn't leave the info in our rooms or if there currently isn't anything being offered.

Just thought I'd join up here. We finally decided on POLY and booked that for our trip next April. SO excited! We stayed at POP last time around (off property the first time) and while it was fun I've been dreaming of staying at a deluxe. Thankfully we got that 40% off code to help make it possible!

Ugh..DD7 came home with 102.6 temp on Friday..so we had to postpone our first trip to the poly..But good news is her fever broke last night ...had no fever all day and is running around eating normally and playing..Doc said she was going to be fine and we should go..so after a bunch of changing things around..we leave tomorrow!!!
