Hi, we are considering a stay at the Polnesian Garden view club level! I apologize if these questions have been answered before, but I couldn't seem to find the answers.

Any room requests we should ask for? I know the rooms on the second floor don't have balconies, but other than do you have an other suggestions?

If you are staying CL do you get packages (purchases) delivered directly to your room? I thought I read that somewhere but now I can't find it.

Okay we just got a weird email from Poly IPO!
They sent an attachment that we have to print out and give to the bellman when we arrive!?!? It also said in big red bold letters that if we used online check in, we must go to the front desk online check in counter instead of going to the Hawaii building concierge to check in. Has anyone gotten this letter and did online check in? If so how did that work out?

Hi Poly friends

Sorry I have been MIA but life gets in the way some times! I need to catch up!

We actually have NO trip planned at this point due to some health issues I am having but no worries...I will be going to Disney to celebrate when I get all this behind me

For now we are jetting off to Colorado for the long holiday weekend to visit family and a little R&R. It is no Disney, but it sure is beautiful there!

I hope everyone has a fabulous trip and I love reading all the great reviews.

How did you go about booking the photopass session? We have done the one in the lobby, but not our own session. That sounds like a great deal!
I am looking forward to the monorail with a double stroller in tow. We stayed at AKL with one stroller last time...it was manageable, but I can' imagine 2 babies and a double stroller on the busses!

We also did the photopass personal session! It was so worth it! We have never done a family portrait with all five of us and our youngest is already 5. I passed up ordering Spring school pics because I had planned on doing this and they took individual pics of each of my kids, family pics, and just me and my husband (after 17 years our first professional pic without kids). The pics are awesome! We got over 100 pics on cd and 8x10, and 4 5X7's. The direct phone is 407-934-4004. My only suggestion is to schedule them in the early evening or morning when it is not hot. Our session was at 4 PM and the heat and sun caused a lot of squinting and some complaints from my kiddos but the photographer handled it great. Good luck!

Please don't state things like this, if a CM got you on the rides quicker they weren't following policy. It is not true and when things like this are spread around people that do not need the GAC try to get one.

The GAC is not intended to get a guest on the rides quicker, it is designed to allow the CM to accomodate the needs stated on the card. I can state this as fact because my b/f is in a wheelchair and we have had one before.

It was 99.95 +tax. Although that seems like alot, my kids usually do spring pics at school and I end up paying 30-40 for each package (I have 3 kids) which ends up close to that same price! And at school I have no control over the fact that they may have just had PE or just came in from recess, etc. So this was really an awesome opportunity for us! I am sure it is not for everyone but I am glad we did it!

Oh darn...I scheduled ours for 4 PM also :-( Well, I guess I can still change it because I am not sure the IPO has booked it yet. But I don't want to lose a RD for a morning session and we will already be dressing up a bit that night for dinner (which also means that I can't schedule it later that night due to our ADR). Wow, that is strange. I thought being able to check in at the concierge desk in Hawaii was to avoid the front desk :-( I was planning on using online check in also but may reconsider based on your experience. I'm curious to hear what others have said. Did you post this on the club level thread also?

It's been discussed on that thread as well. The consensus is that there is no need to use online check-in when staying CL. You already receive personal and private check-in without waiting in line.

I guess carl's e-mail is a good reason not to bother with online check-in. I have to admit though, it's the first time I've heard of someone receiving such an e-mail.

I finally got to check in online today!! I kept getting a unavailable message because Disney had me listed as a Rabbi, as a priest you have to use a different link to access the online check in. I am not a priest, so they took it off for me!
