Almost time

We are coming to WDW for the first time Nov 7...we are a male 53 and female 51 and we have saved for 8 years for this trip...Disney has been a DREAM for me all my life...but...life got in the way...also son 24 and Girlfriend will be coming with us...maybe...just maybe we will be lucky enough to get a dream come true from Disney...to wax poetetically if I may...I used to watch "Wonderful World Of Disney" every Sunday as a child and young adult with dreams of going there some day...we are staying at CSR
All I can say is we have a count down going and CANNOT wait until Nov 7, 2007 at 5:30 am when we leave for WDW!!!!!

Welcome to DIS -- how exciting for you to be making your first trip to WDW. It looks like you'll be there at a pretty good time, when it's not as crowded as it often is, and the weather should be okay (but plan for it to change; be prepared for heat, cold, and rain, just in case). Please read lots of the hints and tips in the various threads on DIS-- there's tons of useful info that will help you plan and enjoy your trip. Use FastPasses (FP's), and PhotoPass (you can use the Search function to learn more about those). Getting to the Parks early (before opening time) is always helpful. You can always ask the CM's (cast members aka Park staff employees) questions to help you along the way; it's always good to be friendly and talk to them even if you don't have any questions.

Be flexible and take your time seeing the things around you. Some things will likely "go wrong" as they do on any vacation; know that you may not see/do everything -- the Parks are huge. But most of all, enjoy the Magic and the little things, and have fun! (Please don't be disappointed if you don't get any of the YOMD stuff).
