At last--180 days out is Monday, and I'm ready! Or, almost ready -- I need a bit of help.

Bearing in mind that 7:00 AM is 4:00 AM out here on the Left Coast, does Victoria & Albert's book up quickly so that I should call first thing when I'm able?

Also, I've got nights and restaurants down, but would appreciate input on times.

Sun 12/10 - Boma - we'll be at AK, which closes at 5, so probably 5:30ish? Also considering Jiko instead.

Mon 12/11 - Hollywood Brown Derby - when should we eat to still make Fantasmic at 7:00 PM? I've read that the dinner package seats aren't that great and it's not necessarily worth it. But I don't necessarily want to eat a big dinner at a great restaurant at 4:30.... Also considering changing to a different restaurant at Studios.

Tue 12/12 - Victoria & Albert's. Any time better? I'm planning on the Big Splurge for the Chef's Table is available.

Wed 12/13 - we'll probably be at Studio, then go to California Grill to watch Wishes, which is at 8:00. What time for dinner? Is there any way we could cram SpectroMagic at 7:00 in, and still get to CG in time?

Thu 12/14 - MVMCP, DVC discount night!

Fri 12/15 - Marrakesh - IllumiNations is at 9:30, so 7 or 7:30 should be late enough but still get us out in time? We missed it last year when we were at Bistro de Paris....

Thanks!

I'll be there with you the exact same days!

That might be pushing it if you stay until 5pm. I don't know. It's a VERY short bus ride to AKL so you may make it at 5:30

Nothing at MGM impresses me, but I know there are a lot of HBD fans. You probably should eat at 4:30 if you like to linger over your meal and still get a good seat. Maybe just hit CS at MGM and save the TS for somewhere else.

It would be really tight IMHO.

Love Marrakesh. That time should work great for you if you can wait that long to eat. I"m usually dying by 5pm for dinner.

Another one here travelling that same week! My husband and I have competing spreadsheets about where to make our reservations. I'll be travelling for work, out in California, but am willing to get up at 4 am to get my Le Cellier reservation! I just wish they had the packages out for Candlelight Processional...

Good luck getting V & A's!

we will be there the same time too! and will be at MVMCP the same night! i have already booked LTT for that evening. i would suggest if you are wanting to eat in the park before the party to call now! we prefer Jiko over Boma as we are not big fans of buffets. plus just everything about jiko is fabulous! i agree w/zulaya, you might be really cutting it close to make california grill from MK after the parade. i would plan on the parade another time. keep in mind if fireworks are at 8:00 you want to be seated by 7:30-7:45 at the restaurant. we have always had a wait at CG no matter what time we booked. good luck! you will love the chef's table and that is what i would book first on your list.

I was thinking of exactly this option. How does this work? It's only our second trip to WDW and first Christmas Party. Do you eat, leave the park, come back in, what? What time would you recommend for dinner?

Yep, that's what I was thinking. Where is that transporter when you need it?

Thanks!

I was reading some ADR posts and some people who wern't going to WDW till late December was bragging that they got their ADR'S- well how can this be? :confused3 180 days and we're going Dec 3-8 and that mean 6/8 was the 180 day mark. So I called Disney 2 days before my 180 day date- the first CM I talked to cut me off first thing and said I had to wait till the 8th to call which was 2 days away, so I hung up and called back and the 2nd CM booked my ADR without any problems :cool1: except I wanted LTT for 12/7 at 4:30 or 5 and she said they were already booked up and all she had left was a 4:20- well, I took it and was sure glad!
I wouldn't wait if I were you, start calling now and keep calling back if they tell you too soon....allearsnet.com has the 1-800 # listed under ADR dining.... GOOD LUCK!

i am not real sure why some CMs are allowing ADRs before the 180 days; you were just lucky!! LOL!! DaddyBrady, you should try to book dinner inside the park anytime around 4:30-5:00. after dinner, you will be directed to a land that is opened just for guests who have dinner ADRs. you will not have to leave the park. when you call dining, early as i mentioned beforehand, tell them you want to book LTT for the christmas party. you will be told you can't do that yet. kindly ask them to look under "special event dining" it is listed there. good luck!
