Almost tall enough to ride

Here's something I noticed when my daughter was right at the 40" mark. If she stood in line with me (I'm 5' 3"), she was never even measured. If she stood in line with my DH (he's 5' 11"), she was stopped every time. I'm guessing she looked taller standing next to me.

About three days before our trip, my three year old realized that if she wore her cowboy boots, they made her taller. LOL. She'd been asking to ride Splash and Big Thunder for over a year, but she is TINY, so we kept telling her to eat her veggies.

Both CM's commented on both rides about how the only reason she was able to ride the ride was her cowboy boots. However, they are her "normal" shoes, she'd wear them to bed if I let her. Another CM told me about being yelled at by a woman because her daughter had been wearing huge heels the day before and couldn't wear the shoes the next day because of blisters, so she wasn't tall enough. Kinda sad, actually.

Juliette wants to go back to ride those rides, in front, everytime we get on the interstate.

my dd also very close to 40 in. turning 3yro...She wore flat keds so I gave her big hair! Either fluffing it up, or pony tail on top etc...She never had a problem! She loves rides:)
