I completely missed the comment about your DD being in hospital. (Really sorry about being word challenged!) Hope she's getting better and that you have a much better rest of the year. It is Chinese New Year on Monday; so here's hoping that your family enjoys a great Dragon year.

I'm enjoying your pictures and I'm really glad to see that you are enjoying the new camera. That purchase was totally worth it! The focusing capabilities and exposure metering are spot on in many of the pictures. It looks like advanced DSLR's are finally catching up to our expectations for them.

You have so many great shots from what you've posted so far... it looks like this camera is keeping up with you very nicely. How are you making out with being more comfortable with it since it's new? You really did a great job with it so the newness doesn't show at all!

I hope everybody on your end is well, especially your wife. Give everybody on the sick list our best wishes for them and keep posting those great shots. Keep in mind if you run out of pictures you're just going to have to go back that much sooner!

Thanks. Everyone is doing better. The DW actually drove herself to the Mall and grocery store. She needed to get out other than to go to a doctor. The weather hasn't been exactly cooperating.

These last shots were taken with my older K10. I had accidentally put the K5 into a mode I didn't recognize. I thought I had broken it. I just happened to have the K10 with me and switched until I could figure it out. Its nice to have a backup.

Well this has been a long week, AGAIN. The DD ended up back in the hospital, twice! This time it REALLY looks like she is going to be well. The DW had her one month check-up and all is well. Its looks like she is well on her way to recovery! So saying all that, I now can get back to processing some of the images. Here are some from the Disney Electrical Parade, formerly MSEP. You're making me jealous about going back. As of right, now our next trip to the "World" isn't planned until the completion of the new Fantasyland in 2014. Our plan is to stay at a resort where we haven't stayed before and experience all the new goings-on. Its an attempt to see it like the 'first' time!

Yes, I am very happy with the way everything turned out. I am loving the dynamic range of the new camera. I'm able to good results from shots I could only dream of before. Recently I have been shooting a lot of school basketball that in the past I would have needed my flash. Now I'm not even bringing it with. This camera is light years ahead of my old camera. The sad part is I loved my K10D and didn't want to put it away. Now its just a back up.
