THANK YOU!!!! I don't have kids so I thought it didn't matter. I've never signed up to have a school linked to my shopping.


My elementary school only has $149 and change coming to it in August. They have 29 cards signed up.

I will be #30.

I had no idea. I was raised in a lower-income area and they really do need the money. If anyone reads this and needs a school to pick...

Of course I did this a long time ago, but if your thread gets anybody else to sign up, that is great! We have paper flyers taped up at our Target letting us know which schools get how much $ in our area. This usually sparks a conversation if somebody doesn't know how the schools get the money. It's all good!

Thanks for posting! I just registered my Red Debit for my nephews school. I was #33 and they've earned no less than $900 each year. What a great program!

I forgot about doing this. Good reminder.

I am considering picking a school in another town though, has anyone done that? My kids are out of school, and my town is pretty well off. While a few towns away, it is another story completely.
