Almost at my 60 day mark......planning for the attack question

We are 4 adults and a 3 year old....I have been playing around and looking to see what is available at the 60 day mark each day...my question is....

If there is not availability for 5 but there is for 4 people should I nab it and add the kid later? (like oops...where did he come from? )

If you have any other tips....I am all ears!!!!

It will be hard to add a 5th later. And you can’t just show up with the extra person as a 4 person table can’t fit 5 people (and they are even more strict about this with Covid). You should make reservations for 5.

If you can't find a reservation for five, look for one for six. The Disney system doesn't like odd numbers You won't be penalized for showing up with five, and the table size would be the same (this doesn't work for any prepaid reservations, if those are still a thing during COVID, although you can probably modify later and get the sixth person's amount refunded).

Agree that showing up with 5 when you have a reservation with 4 simply won't work. You need a different table size. A lot opens up in the days before your trip, since people cancel or change plans

I ended up making two reservations. The first one for a party of two and the other one a party of 3 (under my son's name) that are 10 minutes apart. Hopefully they can put us close by or even together since we are right at the end of breakfast time.

Tables are spread far apart now because of Covid and they can’t be moved together because of the need to be kept 6 feet from other tables. At the of of breakfast time does not mean it eon’t be full since people ise that as brunch on non-park days. Really think you should cancel and check back for a table of 5. Seems like setting yourself up for disappointment otherwise.

I won’t be disappointed.... I booked the worst case scenario.... which would still make me happy...

I know tables are spread apart and it will be busy especially since It will be Easter.
