Hellpppp

I feel like I’ve done so much planning until this point and I’m at a loss now.

We’re going when the weather is variable (last week of Nov) so I’ll be skipping the cooling towels and fans.

I don’t have any cute outfits ordered for us. I guess I should since were doing the Christmas party?

I need to order those bands to make our magicbands stay on, right?

Also what is the power pack for your phone you can exchange in the parks? Is it worth it?

I don’t even know what else.

Help please 😊

The power pack you are talking about is a Fuel Rod. I like them because I can just exchange them in the park when they die. Others will tell you to order a portable charger from Amazon. It just depends on what you are comfortable with. I got the fuel rod when it was still free to exchange in the park so it was totally worth it. (Although I'm not sure where it is anymore. Guess I should look for it.) I will say, depending on your phone, it won't charge it up fully but with the exchange available at each park, it is enough to keep you going through the day.

Definitely buy the bands for the MBs - my MB+ blew off my wrist on RR in June and I never got it back (I opened a lost & found ticket, but no success). We will never go to WDW again without those extra bands - you can buy them on Amazon.

I always had 2 chargers with me, cords to charge my phone, watch and MB. I put everything on charge when we ate. Also, make sure the phone cord is long enough so you can charge your phone in your pocket with the charger in your bag - mine is really long.

I wouldn’t stress about outfits unless it’s super important to you.

Have a fun trip :smickey:

I just bring a regular portable charger that I already own.

I have no idea what the special band is. Myself and my family of 5 have used magic bands since they started existing, go on an average of once a year, have had them with little kids and grown adults , ridden all the rides swimming etc and none of us have ever had an issue with them.

I’m going to the Christmas party this year and I’m wearing whatever I want. No outfit.

I think you don’t need to stress about anything. Just bring a charger box but anyone you want, with the cord, because phones do lose charge.

I wouldn’t want to have to figure out where and how to do the fuel Rod when I can control that in 2 seconds with my own charger. ( recharge at hotel at night, but most hold 3-4 charges).

Next, if I lost a magic band, at that point I could buy another, again this has never happened. Then I could easily activate it through my MDE account or ask a CM for help if needed. Or better yet, ask them right where you buy it to help.

Going at the same time as you and may even be at the same party! We use both the fuel rods and personal chargers - I don’t think the fuel rods pack that much of a punch - despite the convenience of swapping at the park - although - they are just about everywhere.

On the MB+, I haven’t lost one yet - but we usually bring a few that are all activated in MDE which is nice in terms of a charging rotation as well. Regular MBs are just fine imho - and they seem to fit better or so I am told.

That's a great idea! I've always enjoyed the weather in November because it's warm enough during the day, but gets much cooler when the sun goes down. No need for cooling towels or fans.

You're certainly free to dress up if you want to feel festive, but I found most people didn't dress up for the Christmas party versus the Halloween party, where people really go all out for costumes. An "ugly sweater" style long sleeve shirt or Christmas-themed t-shirt and hoodie in case it gets cold will be good for this! Maybe deck yourself out in festive mouse ears and tinsel or the christmas light bulb necklaces they sell.

When I lost my MB+ last year, a bus driver give me a handful these and now, I will never go without them. These clear plastic hair ties are so cheap and work better than the special "sliders" some MBs have. Now I'll never lose my MB+ again!

They're called fuel rods and yes, I totally think they're worth it. I have three of them! 🫣 I like fuel rods because it eliminates the stress of forgetting to charge them in the room at night-- it was so easy to stop by the resort lobby and pop the old one out for a new one before heading off to the parks! You can find them at every resort lobby and also at Disney Springs and all four theme parks-- just ask a CM where to find it!

I don’t even know what else.

Help please 😊

You're asking some great questions! If you already have your hotel, flight/transportation, Christmas Party tickets, dining reservations, and park reservations, there's not much else you can do to prepare except finish packing :thumbsup2
