My husband and I are talking our 2 year olds twins to WDW in September 18-25. They will turn 3 at the end of the trip. We are going to tell them their b-day is in the middle of the week so we can celebrate is at WDW.

Since they will not be 3 when we are at any of the theme parks, I've been told we will not have to pay admission for them. Also they eat free at the character meals.

Has anyone traveled with almost 3 year olds and had any problems? I am wondering if the parks or restruants will question their ages. Any advice? Thanks!

p.s. we are unfortunately not staying at WDW. But I can't complain, since grandma gave us a week at the Sheraton Vistana Villages.

We were thinking of bringing our boys the week my 2 year old turned 3 and I was told by both a travel agent and the CM at CRO that the only age that matters is at check in..

I took my daughter when she was 3 yrs. old and then later my son when he was 2 yrs. old and 3 yrs. old (plus other ages too). They both loved it! They did well everywhere because we went around their schedule. We took naps and went to fun or fast restaurants to eat. We let them run around in play areas. In fact, we all had a great time!

I don't think they will question their ages, but just take their birth certificates with you, then you have it covered anyway.

we took dd last sept when she was almost 3 and we were never questioned about her age. we took her birth cert. w/us just in case but never had a problem. have fun.

I have had my 2 oldest there at 2 and at 4 yrs of age and no one has ever questioned their ages for any reason.

There really is no need to bring birth certificates. At most, they will ask you how old your children are. They are not going to make you prove it.

We went last year when my daughter was turning three a week after the trip and we were never questioned about her age. She was in a stroller (stroller swap) and they just let her through every day. Most of the time they just asked her name just to be friendly. I didnt bring a birth certificate. I would loose my head if it wasnt attached.

We were just there in February with our DD who was going to turn three in March. We were never questioned by anyone as to what her age was, even though she is big for her age. The only time we had to make a correction was at the 1900 Park Faire dinner. They charged her, but once we pointed it out they quickly fixed it for us. They thought our infant was the 'free' child. I did take her b/c but was constantly worried we'd lose it. I think it is a great time to take them as they are so amazed with everything they see. The fun is seeing it through their eyes.

Have a great time

We took our almost three year old last summer. No one every questioned us or asked for a birth certificate (good thing because I didn't bring it). He is on the small side and was in a stroller, but I didn't really hear any kids being asked about their age. By the way he had a ball!

They won't ask. But if you're worried, check your health insurance cards. They probably have birth dates on them, and you'll be carrying them with you any way.

Have a great time!

Our DD now 3 1/3 was also there before her birthday and no one at the gates or in the restaurants ever asked her age.

Have fun!
