Can I use an Alltel BlackBerry with the "new" Verizon service? We've upgraded phones at work and I'm able to purchase the "old" phones at a significant discount. If I purchase a used BlackBerry that sayd "Alltel" on the bottom (like where the speaker would be), will it still work with my Verizon programming? Now we previously had Alltel at work and switched to Verizon and the phones worked fine during that conversion. I've also received NO notification from Verizon that I would need to exchange my current "home" cell phones although they were through Alltel.
Does any of this rambling make sense? I just want to make sure I'm not wasting my money buying the phone if it won't work with the service we have.
