Allstar music trumps pop.....imho

Opinions.....I consider Allstar music a semi secret gem at wdw..a lot of folks ignore it cause it's a value..but I have to say..it is something special. Dare I say the best of the values?
A lot of folks talk so much about pop....let's hear it concerning music.

Do you think it trumps Art of Animation? I love Pop and AoA is better than that. This is all personal opinion. I like feeling like I'm in Disney when we stay at these resorts and those 2 do it for me. ASMu is nice but I don't get that feeling. Plus I am not a fan of the shared buses.

We love AS Music

At Music the service was outstanding, the resort was very quiet over all, the busses were only crowded at peak times and at those times the resort often had it's own bus instead of sharing with the other All Stars. The room was very clean and well maintained. Mousekeeping was outstanding.

We stayed at POP the next trip we took. Because of all the hype it gets we figured if we loved AS Music then POP would just be that much better. It wasn't. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't the same level of quality or service we got at Music. Busses are the most common thing I see people say is great about POP. Our busses at POP were always more crowded than what we experienced when we stayed at AS Music. And some of the waits for busses were really, really long compared to what we experienced when we stayed at Music. We were there at similar times of the year.

Next trip we are planning to stay in a family suite at AoA so we'll see how it stands up to our experience at AS Music.

We've stayed at All Star Music twice and I have to agree...it is wonderful there. I can't think of one negative thing to say. Infact, on our first trip there in 2010, I didn't even know that they ASM shared buses with the other All Star resorts. We were there a whole week and I guess based on the times we were traveling to and from the parks, we had dedicated bus service.

I also found the cm's very friendly and helpful and the food court area clean and well maintained.

AS Mu was our favorite value resort as to theming but mostly because of the main pool

One trip we wound up with a room near the bus area near rear of resort (between it and Sports) which became a wake up call every morning along with the fumes of the idiling buses when we opened the door.

Now when visiting the AS resorts stay @ Movies and request room near Music.

We personally prefer movies first but I like all of the all stars a bit better than pop. They are more compact and IMO, the shared bus thing is greatly over exaggerated on these boards. Now I do think pop has a little bit enter food court. I would stay at any value but I won't pay more to stay at pop.

Well..I HAVE seen A of A , but not yet stayed there..So, i do agree the theming looks GREAT at Art of A. But....I need to stay there for that opinion.
Music to me, Is much much quitter and the smallest of the values. It has a great main pool...and over the years we have just felt its the best value. Obviously, there is one i haunt stayed at....maybe in 2014...cause this May were going back to Music!!
As for buses.....We have never shared. Not once. So, i never understood that concern.
