Allstar movies -- Preferred room?

What does preferred room mean? Is it a certain building or a certain view? My DH & I will be staying there for one night on the 1st and we have a preferred room booked.

A preferred room is in either Fantasia, Toy Story or 101 Dalmations. It used to just be Fantasia, until Disney discovered yet another way to charge a higher price on rooms.

So what is special about these buildings? Are they closer to the main buildings, the pool, what?

They're closer than the "standard" buildings of Love Bug and Mighty Ducks. Enough to pay an extra $10 a night - Eh. The views are all pretty much the same. Personally, I pay for the preferred room only because I like the theming of Toy Story and 101 Dalmations.
