When people research before a trip they will find that for the value resorts that Calypso, Fantasia, the '60s, and I don't know what it is for sports, are closest to the main building and the main pool. When you are at Music and Sports the different buildings are set up in a line. When you walk out of the main building from the back the first building you come to is the preferred section, and that is also where the pool is. So, MAYBE I could see for one of those resorts paying for the extra $10 a night. When we stayed at Music we stayed in Calypso and it wasn't preferred at the time.
When they built Movies and Pop they did the layout differently. When you walk out of the main building you have the option of going straight, left, or right to get to different sections. For Movies, to the left is Toy Story. To the right is Dalmatians and past that is Mighty Ducks. If you go straight you go to Fantasia and past that is Love Bug. The only thing that makes Fantasia better is that the pool is right there. However, if you are in either Toy Story or Dalmatian you don have much of a walk to get to the pool. There are also laundry facilities close to both.
