Allowed to walk to CityWalk before dawn?

I have a strange desire to just walk around CityWalk in the very early morning hours, before anything opens. But as a hotel guest of RPR will the walkway be open to get me into CityWalk at, say, 6am? I know nothing will be open, but just for sights/sounds/photos I want to experience it.

Is the bag check area still in force by Margaritaville 24hrs a day? If so, maybe they will turn me back towards RPR.

This is not that important to my vacation, but I am trying to find little things that I have not yet experienced. Walking around CityWalk before anyone else wakes up could be quite enjoyable in the early morning Florida sunshine. I like the idea of it being deserted.

I don't know the official policy but I remember posters who wanted to jog through CityWalk early in the morning and were turned away. I would imagine no one is allowed prior to opening due to liability reasons but unless you're going VERY early, you shouldn't have any issues considering people will be there early for WWoHP. I don't see how you could be turned away when others will be there too.

They will not let you in until ~7:15. There will be barricades set up at both ends of the walkway.

There may be company vehicles driving around citywalk, so that's probably the reason you can't be in there. If you want to see some stuff, you can probably watch Hulk and Doom test around 7 am to 8am from RPR. Not TOO interesting, but it's cool to see it run its course and such.

What the other posters said. I was staying off-site and was trying to get to RPR to have breakfast with another DISer and was turned away and had to take the back roads to the hotel. Luckily it wasn't far.

I would imagine it depends when it is. Early entry for IOA starts at 7 am the next couple of weeks, so I would imagine you can get into Citywalk pretty early those days.
