Pete, I am certain that you and the team feel it necessary to send someone to the WTT Smash Hits (or whatever it's called) event and I will gladly, and very selflessly, donate my time to cover this event (at your cost, of course). I am a HUGE Elton fan - so much so that I call him 'Reggie' on a daily basis. I WAS Elton a few Halloweens ago and am one of the few people on this earth who actually purchased his album, Rare Masters which includes one of my very favorite Elton songs, Friends. I'm sure Pete knows it but if other readers do not, get out there and buy it (the song I mean, the rest of the album is pure crap)!
Simply send the VIP package/ticket to me (I can PM my mailing address) and you can consider it done! I will personally make sure that I get a one-on-one chat with Reg, even if it requires stalking him and/or dodging diamond-encrusted tennis balls. I will go so far as to risk a restraining order to adequately cover this event. Seriously ... I'm there ... if you need it ... seriously.
