Hello:

Another question, I know there are no elevators in the bayou buildings in port orleans. So that is okay with me.

My question is which floor for two adults no children (ours are adults now, but this will be our first trip as a couple), for quietness. Or maybe you cannot hear people above you if we pick first floor. Just wondering.

Thanks,

Deb.

2nd floor was quiet, if you pick 1st floor you may hear kids running about in rooms above.

we are in the same situation as you. no kids and in our 30's ...do we want 1st floor OR 2nd floor.

EVERY time we make our ressies, we request 2nd floor and we get it. it is quieter. HOWEVER

by the 4th day...90 degree + heat and humidity, we always wish we had 1st floor.

If you have a river view room, then i would suggest 2nd floor. it is a nice view.

but my vote is going for 1st floor location. you won't notice the noise.

hope this helps.

we much preferred second floor--no noise above and better view;
request a corner room if you can get it
