My husband and I are going down to Disney on the 15th of August. I was wondering if any one knows of a restuant that sells alligator. We would really like to try it. And strangly enough our kids are really excited about the possiblity of being able to try it too.

Thanks

Coral Reef used to have alligator sausage on the menu.

Check Dixie Crossroad's in the Festival Bay mall. They may have it on the menu. They have everything else!

If you are brave you could get it at a Flea Market! Some of them serve it at the little food booths, but you are on your own if you eat at those!

I know that Gatorland used to have Alligator Nuggets!

If you are going to try Gator try to make sure that it is tail meat that has been needled. One of the best ways is blackened gator bites. I don't care much for the fried meat as it is often not handled properly and is rarely the best cut of meat. I like gator however I would be skipping the gator sausage.
