We will be in WDW in about 3 weeks and my nieces are going for the first time. They are both severely allergic to dairy, eggs, and tree nuts. I know most restaurants are pretty good about accommodating allergies and I think our park days are well planned, but we wanted to do a QS dinner in DTD and I am stressing about what will work for them. Does anyone have experience dealing with multiple allergies at DTD who can give me some suggestions?

Our DS has severe allergies to dairy and tree nuts. We have eaten at T-Rex, Rainforest Cafe and Planet Hollywood and all have been very accommodating. Also, there is a bakery called Babycakes inside the Pollo Campero QS restaurant that makes all of their cupcakes and cookies without dairy, eggs, gluten, nuts, etc. Last weekend we brought home a dozen cupcakes and a dozen cookies and DS is already asking if he can get more when we go back next week! Also, while we did not eat at Pollo Campero, I did check out their menu and it looks very allergy-friendly, so we will probably be dining there in the future. Hope that helps! :flower3:

Wolfgang Puck Express and Earl of Sandwich, both in the Marketplace, are very good with accomodating food allergies as well. We had to wait a little longer during peak times, but we always allow a little extra time for this. For safe food, we're ok with it.

We had pizza at Wolfgang Puck and it was good. Perhaps they do a cheeseless pizza?

When you say severely allergic to tree nuts, how severe is severe? Babycakes does have a nut warning so read their allergy statement. As an allergy mom, my opinion is that they're safe for all but the absolute most severe of allergies and by severe I mean REALLY extreme. The company that produces their flours do massive pressure washes of the lines and then throw out quite a bit of product after that whenever they produce their nut flours but only you know what's comfortable for you. Our nut allergies are nowhere near severe enough to worry about that level of cross contamination but I know each person knows their own level of concern and needs to make a decision for themselves.

We love Babycakes. LOVE them. REALLY love their stuff. :)

We haven't eaten at DTD. I just don't see there being nearly as many options for foods for my kids at any of the restaurants there as there are at the Disney owned places. My kids can't even eat the allergy breads so all sandwiches are out for them and they don't like vinegar based salad dressings so that doesn't leave much for CS. Pollo Campero (where you'll find Babycakes) is probably your best bet for kid friendly CS food but I would suggest looking at menus to see what looks like they'll have easily modifiable options. I would think that PC, WPE and EoS would be your best bets since they're the places that get the best allergy reviews but I'd still look over the menus to be sure that there are options that look easily modifiable to be safe. My kids do eat bunless burgers at home but at WDW it just isn't the same. We're more likely to eat CS at our resort and then head to DTD after eating.
