anyone with experience of dinning in Downtown disney with milk and peanut allergies...would to like to do some shopping and grab dinner on arrival day..not picky on food so any restaurant that is good with accomadating allergies...Thanks

We really don't eat at DTD, but we have been to Rain Forest and T-Rex without any problems, with our Peanut/tree Nut allergic son. Wolf Gang Pucks uses a lot of Peanut Oil with everything they cook, I would avoid them, they were concerned about our allergies and did help but I was not comfortable. Too many nut products for me. Also, Express Wolf Gang is not safe, they told me. I heard a lot of reviews about reactions at Raglan, so that is crossed off our list to try.

Hope this helps.

Fish & chips with onion rings at Cooke's of Dublin followed by Babycakes for dessert. YUMMY!!!! I don't know if the regular fish & chips are safe or not but the gluten free ones are milk and peanut free. If you're not into fish & chips then I hear that Pollo Campero (Babycakes is in their building) is good with allergies though I have no first hand experience with them.

I was able to have a salad and the ham sandwich (well minus the bread for me since I can't have gluten along with peanut dairy and many other allergies) at Earl of Sandwich. The ham is the only deli meat they could verify was dairy free. But by far the best part of DTD for me is Babycakes! Yum! :hyper:

DD12 has dairy, egg, tree nut, and peanut allergies. We have had good luck in 5 visits to Pollo Compero (there is an allergy chart listed on the web) with fried chicken pieces, french fries and yucca fries. Their chicken strips and most grilled chicken items had a dairy element. We also have had no problems in three visits T. Rex and the downstairs twice at TS at Wolfgang Pucks. Babycakes has been a favorite. Cooks of Dublin we were unfortunate enough to have a reaction (fish or onion rings?). I did not have confidence after talking to management before ordering. Others have had better luck. Menu item ingredients are subject to change, so always ask.
