My DN is traveling Allegient, are they ok? We normally only fly SW, unless we go to NC, then it's USAirways, and they STINK!

If she is flying to Orlando, be aware that they fly into Sanford Airport, not Orlando International. So no Disney Magical Express. They typically have limited schedules, not every day of the week, so if there is a cancellation you could have problems. Unlike USAirways, they do not sign tickets over to another airline if there is an issue. Be sure to read the website for extra fees.

I use Allegiant exclusively now. I hate the connecting flights and huge security line, long trek to gates at MCO.
Allegiant is smaller airports, so Sanford is an additional 1/2 hour away with no ME. The plus is direct flights, cost is avg $62 for me, there are three smaller airports nearby I can get to for better flight times and days.

Not having any issue with them except a repair took the plan out of service and a flight was coming in within the hour that they were going to do a turn around cleaning on. So we had to switch planes. Not a big deal, just flew out an hour later. I don't fly in the winter, the last three weeks our area had storms so no delays on our end, there was a cancellation on the Saford end. Not sure why or how they handled it. I know the local flight out was delayed because of that. I never watched to see when they did leave.
