Allegiant Air, Can I get thr good & bad

Has anyone ever flew with to them to Hawaii? Can I get your opinion? Thanks in advance.

Fly them regularly out of Harrisburg pa to florida. Ticky tac with fees. Hammer people who try to carry on luggage too big. Late often. But even w fees often cheaper than other options. No frills inside the plane. A flying version of a greyhound bus.

Allegiant is a good choice if it is your only non-stop option. Just be aware of the fees. I would rather fly non-stop on the worst airline in the industry than fly first class on the best if it wasn't non-stop.

. . . bus seats recline further
. . . bus seats are more comfortable
. . . buses don't charge for larger carry-ons
. . . buses don't make you go through TSA security
. . . busses are usually more on-time
. . . buses stop every 2-2½ hours for food breaks
. . . buses have bigger windows
. . . buses can be significantly cheaper than airfare
2) Hey, maybe Greyhound is a better alternative.

They only fly to Hawaii from the west coast and don't do connections. You would have to arrange a separate flight.

Well looks like it was to good to be true. The flights out of Hawaii to Las vegas were so cheap but I would have to get another airline for my connection. Was 415 one way for both flights, Looked up reviews and after what you guys said I can't chance it. Their track record is so bad. Realy sad, playing the airfare waiting game and the prices keep going up. Thinking i might have to cancel Aulani for this year. The cheapest I have been getting is 1,200 RT at really horrible times with connections. We want to go the end of June till July 5th.

The only way I would chance that is spending a night in Las Vegas between flights.

You can get SUPER cheap overnight stays in Las Vegas off strip but still near airport. Fly in the night before and catch the flight the next day.

Remember they are a smaller airline with a limited number of planes that is why they only fly to city a few times a week. SO if you encounter any issues be it weather delays or mechanical you could be stuck for several days till you can get on another flight
