Ok so there is a swimming tradition
that before our biggest meet which is leagues
we dye our hair bleach blonde.
well my beautiful brown hair is now...

Can I make a suggestion? Dye the brows too! If you are doing it go all out. Good luck at the swim meet- I hope your hair scares the other team into defeat- or if it really is worse in real life perhaps they will be laughing so hard they won't be able to swim....

DON'T TRY THIS WITHOUT PROFESSIONAL HELP! If you get dye or bleach in your eyes...

AHHHH no!

If he doesn't like the hair, he can just shave it or cut it short and it'll grow out.

Bleaching eyebrows is a bit more difficult to get rid of!

Alladin you better NOT dye anything else. I just spotted this thread and believe me his hair is ORANGE. This orange hair person happens to be my DGS. Oh where, oh where is your dark brown hair.

Well, you could wait until after the swim meet and then shave your head (or at least go for a real short cut) and hope that it grows out over the spring/summer...

DS5 wants to join the swim team next year. Practices are two nights a week from 7 p.m. - 8 p.m. and then swim meets most weekends.

We write about swimming professionally ... John writes for Swimming World, and I freelance all over the place. Did you see that Phelps broke the 2Fly world record yesterday in some pool in Missouri, WITH A GOATEE? Not even shaven.

Just checking in . My DD had a great meet. She cut 3 seconds off her 25 yard Breast and 1 second off her 25 Fly and she didn't DQ on her IM! When your kid is only 7, you get excited about the small things .

I hope that Alladin had a great meet too!

Robin congrats on your DD swimming. Alladin's meet is this thur. It is an all city meet to see if they qualify for State's. He will let you know when the meet is over. Shirley (Alladin's DGM)

Yeahh
i did pretty good today at my swim meet
I did a 1min.15sec. in my 100breaststroke
i did a 59sec. in my 100 freestyle
and a 32sec. in my 50 breaststroke in my Medly Relay.
so Saturday im swimming the 200MedlyRelay.
&&Maybe the 400FreeRelay. Not sure about that one yet.
But yeahh saturdays meet is for the medals
so wish me luck =]

Good luck on Saturday, Alladin! I was on the Swim Team starting somewhere around 6 or 7 years old, all through High School. My best event was the 500Free. Not good on speed, but good on endurance.

I noticed in your siggy that you go to a Wayne high school...my high school was in Wayne, also...but in NJ.
