All*You magazine...2 versions or am I missing something?!

I'm, um, confused. I had never heard of this magazine until I saw it mentioned here on the boards. I'd been meaning to check it out but (since it never made my list) I always forgot. Today, however, I remembered it when we got to Walmart and I went straight to the magazines. A quick scan of the shelf revealed TONS of this magazine, one section on each of three rows with probably 8 issues or so in each section. Cool beans! So I take one down and begin to flip through it...........three (THREE!!) times. The only coupon I found was for 50 cents off my next purchase of the magazine I even turned it over and flipped through it backwards, nothing. I considered turning it upside down and trying again but that seemed a bit Harry Potter-ish

Also, I read it was $2.25 or so at WM. This one had $4.69 on the UPC code

Now, maybe there are two different magazines with similar names or maybe they do two and only one has the coupons? That does seem a tad unlikely, though. If there is someone who buys this at WM can you check it and let me know what the price on the UPC is? And, did you actually find coupons in it? I found a blog online that listed coupons for the current issue and, to be honest, I doubt I would have bought it anyway if that is what was in the magazine but I'm so "kerflumaxed" by the fact there was only ONE coupon for the magazine itself....

I do know that there is a difference between the All You from subscription and the All You that you buy at the store. But I thought they both had coupons. I thought the only difference was the number of coupons?? That is strange that it didn't have ANY coupons???

The coupons in my subscription are spread throughout the magazine - not in a tear-out coupon section or anything like that. The coupon for a product is usually placed within the ad on the page.

Thanks. I tried to look at most of the ads but I never saw anything on them. I may go back and really page through it just to be sure but I've been couponing for years and I am usually pretty adept at seeing those little dotted lines

The 2 covers thing does explain something, the blog showed a different cover for the magazine which confused me even further.

All You also has a "Special" issue out right now that is different from the monthly magazine. Is it possible that is what you found?

The All You I receive via subscription has a list of the coupons include near the front. It includes the featured product and the page number of the coupon.

This must be it as there are currently two "All You" in Wal-Mart right now. The current monthly with the coupons is "pinkish" on the cover.

All You has a Fitness special issue out right now - published in conjunction with Sparkpeople.com - and it was about $5 - I also noticed that it had only the 1 coupon. The current issue of All You is pink and has a valentine flower arrangement on the cover. I subscribed last year - and have made back my subscription amount a couple of times over with the coupons! Hope you can find it on your next trip - or you could subscribe - looks like they are offering 2 free issues with subscription.

Thanks, guys. That clears it up. I have to go back in a day or two (suprise, suprise I forgot something ) so I'll swing back by the magazines and check it out. I didn't see any other magazines with that title but I probably overlooked it since I wasn't really looking for it.

It would stand to reason that when I finally get around to checking it out they put out 2 and only 1 has coupons
