All you can eat Food pass worth it??

I am trying to figure out if the All you Can eat food pass is a good value or not. We are a family of 4 and will be eating lunch and dinner there. We would get the 2 park pass because we are doing both parks in 1 day. I was looking at the prices on the menus and am trying to see if we would honestly spend the $24 per adult to account for the pass.

So anyone that has used it do you find it a good value? It does not include the drink so I need to take that into account as well.

My husband eats alot and we didn't find it was worth it at all. It is SO much food and it doesn't count for breakfast items. Plus, its only really fast food type stuff...heavy food that stays in you for a long time. We used it at 2pm and the parks closed that day at 7pm. We couldn't even fit in another meal as we were still so full. We only spent about $14 on food each that day, but bought a pass for $20 each. Plus, with an AAA pass, you get 10% off all the restaurants in Universal anyways, and this would've been a better deal for us.

I've heard though for teenage boys, this is the best deal around.

ETA: my BIL is a very large man and he found this to be a great deal, but he eats probably as much as me and my husband combined.

I agree with this. Also...you can not share meals on the meal deal but you can if you are buying regular meals and some of the meals are quite large. I would pass on the meal deal.

It really depends on how much you are going to eat and how late the park is open. For teenagers who will happily eat three or four meals between 11:30 am and park closing - it might pay off. But if you just plan to eat one lunch and one dinner, I would not buy it.

For our 6 year old, we get her the meal deal each and every time we go to US/IOA, and even Sea World too. The child price is $9.99 for 1 park, or $11.99 for 2 park. Yesterday, our DD ate 4 times...about 1030 when we went in (had a light breakfast at home). She ate again around 2, 4, and then 6. We use the meals as more mini-meals/snacks. For her, it is totally worth it. Plus, we have a meal deal soda mug, so refills are free with the meal deal all day long (cost was $8.99 when we bought it, but we have been told by many cast to bring back again and again so we do).

DH and I have done the meal deal a few times...when we know we are going to be in the park for 2 meals, as with the soda/iced tea refills throughout the day, it pays. For an adult it is $19.99 for one park, $23.99 (I think) for the 2 park.

The meal deal is only available to be used at US at Mel's Drive in, International Food & Film Festival, and Louie's Italian Restaurant. IOA at Burger Digs, Comic Strip Cafe, and Circus McGurkus.

We love the Chinese entres at Comic Strip Cafe and at International Food Film Festival. We also love the salads and fruit plates at International Food & Film Festival. We look for the healthier options at all the places...enjoyed a yummy grilled chicken at Burger Digs recently.
