For our Epcot day I had originally planned PSB. I have a 3 year old who LOVES princesses. Even though we are doing CRT and 1900 PF I know she would love PSB too!

But all this talk about LeCellier is making me want to try it! I LOVE steak. DH doesn't. DD isn't picky but DS is.

Maybe next trip! Sounds sooooooooooooo good!

For what it's worth, I find it highly overrated and disappointing after the hype. You can get a great steak at a fraction of the price back home. It's also a pretty basic atmosphere so a small child would not find it overly interesting. Your daughter will LOVE the princesses so enjoy your meal at PSB! I think you made the right choice =)

If you are looking for a great steak experiance on WDW property then I would recommend you giving Shula's Steakhouse a try on your next trip. As far as the steak at the WDW owned and operated places I would say Jiko, then Yatchsman then LeCellier. If you are paying out of pocket and money it is not the issue just a great experiance then Shula's hands down.

We were quite disappointed with our Le Cellier lunches last week. Dh had the fillet and I had the NY strip. This was our 2nd time there and we thoroughly enjoyed it last trip that we wanted to repeat for this trip. We're not going back next time. The cheddar cheese soup and the pretzel bread were awesome! But, the steaks were chewy. Service (Edward was our server) was wonderful.

Le Cellier is highly overrated.

If you love steak and hubby doesn't...head to flying fish. Theyhave one of the best steaks on disney property, and I am sure your hubby will find something he loves on the menu.

Flying Fish is fantastic!

Thanks for the suggestions!

We haven't booked PSB because it's for 3/23 so I can't just yet. I will most likely just go with PSB since I really like to keep the kids occupied at meal time at WDW. :rotfl:

Le Cellier was the highlight of my trip. The filet was beyond incredible and the mussels...OMG. It was that good! I used to love The Akershush, but after the Princesses took over.....the menu suffered greatly.:guilty:

I will never be back to the Akershush unless it goes back to the old menu.

Based on things like the approval rating in the Unofficial Guide (where it gets the highest rating of any restaurant) and personal experience, I would have to say that Le Cellier detractors are the most vocal of any restaurant. If you base your opinion on the posts on Disboards you would think that only about half the people who eat there like Le Cellier, not the 98% approval they currently enjoy. We always have the mushroom filet and it is so melt in your mouth good that you could cut it with the pretzel bread sticks.

for those who dont like the steak part.......our friends that went with us got the chicken dish and he said that it was fantastic.......the little boy that was 8 had the childs steak and he had veggies and fries with it.....for his appetizer he had fresh veggies and dip......he loved the breadsticks.......ALL KINDS>.....and we all loved the soup.
ITS a matter of choice.....some people love it and others dont.....

Its a good restaurant, but I agree it isn't worth the hype. Steak is available a ton of places back home without making a special trip at Disney. And now with the increase in prices and the decrease in quality, I'm not sure when we will return.

Shula's was a great steak, but I wouldn't bring kids younger than ten there. There was not a single child in the entire restaurant when we were there (which did happen to be over a Gartner conference, so it was filled to the brim with IT Vendors and Execs on expense accounts).

One of my husband's favorites for steak is Teppan Edo.

I totally disagree. Our family ate at LeCellier for lunch last week and everyone including my 5yo princess crazed DD loved it.

DH and I had the filet and DS had pizza and DD a hot dog. For dessert DH had the chocolate cake, DS and myself , the chocolate mousse and DD had the create your own sundae.

The pretzel bread is always a favorite also.

To feed DD's princess frenzy, we had lunch at CRT.

I wasn't impressed with dinner at 1900 Parke Fare when we ate there last year and my kids nor myself would never eat anything off the lunch or dinner menu at Princesses in Norway.

Her and I did the breakfast ourselves last year and it was very nice. But we like the castle better.

Please listen to those who do not like it so the rest of us can get ADR's at better times, PLEASSSSSSSSSSSSSE!;)
