All the free dining dates ????

Hi all .... I was wondering what happened to all the free dining dates that they had announced throughout the fall? We were in WDW in Dec and they even had them listed in the room? Did they expire? Sell out? My sil and family have been saving up and figure they can go this spring (they are flexible) but all there is are the room only discounts ...... Any help would be appreciated.

To get the free dining promotion that they were doing, the trip had to be booked by the end of December 2010.

There currently is no general public free dining offer available, and the one previously issued through September 29, 2011 expired on December 20.

Unfortunately, the Free Dining offers all required that you booked by December 20th. If they would have even put down a $200 deposit they could have held a reservation, but now, unless they are lucky enough to come by a PIN code (or another general public offer comes out), Room Only discounts are all that are available right now.

Depending on the resort and how many kids vs/ adults, though, the room discount can work out to be better or very close to FD. Hope this helps!

What were the check in and out dates for the free May dining? I have it booked for May 27-June 3, but may have to adjust our days by a couple either way. I just wanted to make sure I stay in that window of free dining.

The check-in dates were May 27 - June 2. So you could not check in earlier.

Although not as good for most families as free dining, we did get a good deal on the kids stay and play free offer that is currently available. We are going in April and it's saving us over $400, since we have two kids between 3-9. Might be worth a look for your SIL, but I believe the offer ends 2/13 for the spring - so tell her to look quickly!
