Which one?? I have twins sons, age 5 and a husband and they all want a different hotel. Does one have nicer rooms than others? Which is the nicest building in each one. Help I guess I am the one to chose and they seemto have the same stuff and all look nicely themed, what is your opinion?

We stayed at All-Star Movies Sept 8th till 13th 2001, in the 101 dalmation section and thought it was fantastic. We looked at the other two and even had dinner in the cafeteria at Music & Sport, however we thought (myself,Husband and 13yo) that Movies seemed to be the better one. Dalmation section was close to the buses, pool and cafeteria which suited us fine. Could not fault Movies and had the best time, wish we had enough money to come back (from Australia) maybe in the next 2 years, fingers crossed. :Pinkbounc :bounce: :Pinkbounc

We stayed at the Movies twice & really loved it. Once we were in Toy Story & once in 101 Dalmatians. Both were about the same distance to buses, food court & the main pool. We will definitely stay there again in the future. The giant Dalmatians & Woody & Buzz should really impress your kids.

I believe the rooms at all 3 resorts are relatively the same - maybe just different coloring. The only difference between our Dalmatian room & Toy Story room was the wallpaper border & a poster on the wall. Hope this helps!

I have stayed at the All star Music and we loved it.
We are staying at the movies this year, and I can't wait. I think all the all stars are the same, but I would vote for the movies for your boys.:)
The theme will truely excite you children.

We've stayed at all 3 and for overall excellent themeing, I'd have to go with Movies. If your boys are Toy Story fans, the giant Buzz and Woody are really amazing. We were lucky enough to get a corner room, first floor, with Woody as the view out our window.

Movies, being newer, is also noticably cleaner and less worn. At least, it was a few years ago when we were there.

Hi, We have stayed at all three resorts. *** is fun, great for teenagers. ASM is fun. I think adults appreciate more than children. ASM is fun for kids. My dgs loved the toy story section. It was close to the food court and the transportation. Have fun. Patsy :)

We've stayed at the Movies twice now, and my little girl LOVES this hotel! First time was Love Bug, and the second was 101 Dalmations! Both were great locations - a short walk to the food court/bus stop. A friend of mine has two boys and they loved the Sports - thought the football section was great!

Since they each want a different one, you get to pick and I'd go with whichever theme appeals most to you. The rooms are all basically the same - just the theming is different!

Stay at the Movies in the Dalmation Section. That puts you close to the Mighty Ducks pool--the lockers and laundry facilities and the "main house" for those quick late-night snack trips. We've done that for the last few years and thoroughly enjoyed it !!

We just went to WDW in Sept. and wanted to stay at Movies for a change of scenery as we had been to Sports three previous times. However, Movies did not have any rooms with the discount codes that were available. Turns out, they usually don't participate in any of the code promotions. I couldn't see paying an extra $26 or so a night just for a different look. If the price is a factor to you, consider either the Music or Sports because you most likely won't get a deal at Movies.

If you do choose Sports, the Touchdown buildings are near the front (main building/lobby/bus stop) and are between both of the pools. Also, the rooms are not priced as preferred rooms even though they are some of the most convenient on the property. Everything was in great shape in the rooms and all over the resort. It looked like it did the first time we went in 1994.

We stayed at the movies two years ago, and i think that the giant characters around really provided a disney feel for the kids. They also provide great photo ops. That being said, when i gave my kids the choice this time for if we went back, they chose the sports, but i think that is because they wanted to try something new.

I'd appreciate feedback on what the pools are like at each All Stars. We have reservations at the Movies but the kids liked the fountains in the pool that we saw on the Disney web site for the ASMusic.

Thanks for any feedback.

At Sports, the Surf's Up pool (behind main building) is a large pool that is shallow at each end and deeper in the middle (only 5 feet). There is a small wading pool near this pool. The Home Run pool is smaller and has a fountain in the middle with Goofy and a cannon that shoots out streams of water. My boys (10 and 6) loved that part of the pool.

I think the pools are pretty much the same at all three locations with some themes a little different. We love the ASMo and like the prefered building of fantasia. On our next trip however, we are going to stay at the one of the three that we can get the best rate at. It will not be movies not likely. We are thinking sports.

For kids your ages, I would Pick Movies. I usually stay at Sports. The room size are about the same, Movies is the "newest" one of the three.;)

All 3 AS resorts are great. We prefer movies and I think the little ones will too since the motif is the most recognizable for them. However, if they are sports fans, they may enjoy sports also.

Biggest difference besides theming is the size of the food courts. The Sports and Music are the same, but the Movies is bigger with more choices and more cash-registers.
