All Stars - Movies Pool Closed

We arrived on Friday May 7th, and noticed that Sorcerer Mickey was not around. There were a couple of lift trucks by the mountain, and they appeared to be working on that area of the pool. We got up this morning 10th, and found that the entire pool area was closed, and it appeared that they were taking up the blue no-skid stuff. We are going to try and find out when it will re-open in the morning.
They have a shuttle taking people to another pool, I would suspect the Music pool. I am just thinking, the pool has been crowded here, I couldn't imaging twice the number of people in the same size pool at Music.

By the way, the weather is beautiful, only a light misting tonight. Having loads of fun!!!

Sorry to hear that. Was the Mighty Ducks pool closed as well?

It appears that they are doing a refurb to the area, and they expect the Fantasia pool to be closed for 10 days. The Mighty ducks pond is open as well as a shuttle to another pool.
You would think they would have done a refurb on the pool during the winter months, oh well.

I would hate to be at the Music pool. That must be over-crowded. Sorry to hear about that.

We were there on May 8th too. We left that afternoon and DH tried to take the kids swimming in the morning. They ended up going over to the Mighty Ducks pool. Mickey had been missing from Fantasia since at least May 2, our arrival date. We were too busy in the parks on the other days to worry about the pool. We go swimming all summer long, so no big deal to us.

pool was not that crowded that we could not enjoy a quick dip to cool off........we enjoyed it .......
